Unidentified Myna

Have yet to identify this bird. Looks different from the normal Mynas found in the wild ;-)

Looks very much like the Bank Myna.... but.... but.... they shouldn't occur around this region. Or did they? sigh! more readings to do ;-)

Treating swollen eye

I have been lucky thus far. I have not encountered eye problem in Shamas throughout the years. Finally it has to happen. So, after consulting my friendly neighbourhood doctor, we decided to give chloramphenicol eye ointment a go.The problem:
